Your only option at this point is to send the unit in for repair. There is no pan/tilt adjustment. Make sure that your firmware is up to date. I would download firmware even it it says that not upgrade is available.

I do not see that happening unless it is by a third party developer. DJI and GoPro have been going their own ways for some time now. GoPro has announced that they are developing their own brand of MR copters. The market will decide how that venture works.

Currently no. I have been flying the Lightbridge almost a year now. That has always been the case. You can use 5.8gHz for RC, the Lightbridge for video only and try the 2.4 Data Link. At least then if the Data Link connection get broken you will still have RC control.
