This thread would be incomplete without flight time tests. Did two tests, check them out. Flight time without payload (17,2kg AUW) is nearly 40 minutes.

It sure is! I plan to lift ~23kg payload so the total weight of the quad will be 40kg total :) Had some free time in hand and made a short clip of the U13 quad. Check it out, it has a quick overview of the assembly process and some Air-To-Air in-flight shots ;)

I agree, people who handle LiPos should have more knowledge about them. I know many people who charge/keep their LiPos on the couch etc. I find removing the seal a little better option than drilling holes, since it should contain flames (and everything else hot that might fly out) better due to...

Thanks, Sudovoodoo80. Removing the seal seems to be a smart choice - here is a comparisson of two ammo boxes. Guess which one did not have the seal removed.
