beside the technical specs of the motors, what temp would experience users of the S800 consider normal range that your seeing? I am going to test with a sensor later, but, yesterday short flight.. 7 mins.. seems to have my motors extremely hot to the touch. outside temp was 82F. it flew fine...

you can go to http://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc_e.asp?ecalc and put in your info, it will help you find how each battery V/AmpHr will change your flight time. Good luck.. basically, more Amp Hours will be able to provide power for draw longer.

sounds like you have it parallel? if you are, then you are still on 3s. I would verify it by putting a V meter on DC, one end on the black and one on the red.. if it reads around 11.1 V DC then you are still on 3S, if it reads somewhere around 22.2, then you are on 6S.

I flew mine.. stock props, with 2 VTX and extra 3S for VTX and Secraft retract pro. Though I did not have the Secraft arms support. got 6 mins with 2 6S 8000 NanoTechs leaving 3.78v/cell. Thought the same about ditchin the 2 batteries for 1.. but twice this year, having 2P batteries helped...

you need to consider your motor, how many motors, your props, weight, your flight pattern.. your payload... etc.. Sometime more amphr gets heavier.. some times, motors will pull more depends on weight, sometimes your batteries are different depends on temperature outside flying.
