    Hoverfly Something Big?

DJI products may be described as toys but the WKM, A2 and Ace 1 certainly are far from toys - They are high end Pro Flight Controllers used by thousands of Professionals very successfully. I am not saying they don't have their problems, just like HFPro, the difference is DJI appear to care...

    XAircraft SuperX

To 'Level' your motors you simply put your machine on a level surface and place a spirit level on the centre frame. Then each arm can be checked and if it needs altering simply slacken the bolt through the arm on the end and twist a little. Once level tighten up and repeat for all arms. Fly it...

    XAircraft SuperX

Sorry to hear of your crash Dhardjono. My X650 Pro can confidently handle winds upto 25mph without any major issue at all so your 5-10mph wind would have no ill effect at all. I have flown mine in 20 mph with gusts upto 30. It does buck about in that sort of wind but is certainly not beyond...

XAircraft XAircraft X650 Pro - Owners

I have seen GPS pucks for the SuperX mounted very low and even without a post at all. Not having a SuperX.... yet I can't comment. Ali runs his own custom build site in China he is also an very, very accomplished heli pilot. I knew of him from Helis but he branched into Multis a couple of...

    Zero UAV Zero E1100

Having looked at the ZeroTech website (www.zerouav.com) I found the Zero1600: now that is impressive, if the claims are to be believed, 60 mins flight time with a full payload of 6kg. However, no one sells them?

    Zero UAV Zero E1100

Having looked at their site (http://www.neidhartonline.com) it looks like they will cost £9,000 for the Octi 1100mm and all you get is 10 minutes flying time? That is not going to set the world on fire. For that sort of money there are a lot more makes out there. Although I do like the idea of...

I have nothing attatched to the legs other than the RX antenna and they are only slipped into two rubber tubes so they just pull out. the reason for this is that I can remove the legs in seconds for storage and transportation. Everything hangs on the main central frame somewhere. It does get...

    Aeroxcraft Brushless Gopro Gimbal

It could be an iffey sensor. If that is the case Rob will help out. In fact he posts on this thread occasionally. I know this doesn't help bit I have three of his gimbals and now have no issues with any of them.

    Aeroxcraft Brushless Gopro Gimbal

I did suffer that a little after a right turn but it levelled again within a couple of seconds... I also got bucking when the wind was from the front left but isolated that to the wind catching the wiring which in turn unbalanced the gimbal. In the end I tied the wires to the frame and never...

XAircraft XAircraft X650 Pro - Owners

So glad I am not alone..... The xAircraft straps are not very strong so didn't trust them the minute I saw them. There's an old expression: Experience Teaches which is true in any language. I only went this way when I noticed that the lipos can slip during flight and one of my 5000ma lipos got...

XAircraft XAircraft X650 Pro - Owners

Here we go: I have put double sided servo tape on the mount so the allen bold heads don't damage the lipos. On that I have put two strips of hook Velcro. On every lipo I have put a strip of the soft Velcro. In the top of the mount I have also put a strip of soft Velcro- this stops the strap...

The strap supplied is OK upto 5000ma but 8000ma is too big. I use longer Velcro straps but also have Velcro on the mount and lipos to prevent slipping during flight. when i get home I will post a photo or two so you can see it.

    Waypoint flying for Phantom Vision

It'll all be OK the guys at DJI have protected restricted areas from Ground Station flight..... well you are not be able to fly within 1/2 a mile of Tiananmen Square. How long before other governments demand the same protection.... Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Airports....... I...

    Hoverfly Something Big?

Sorry, I wasn't trying to upset HFP owners here just pointing out that there is a whole world outside HFP where development is thundering forward but not all is roses for them all either. It may be that HFP will not throw out dodgy hardware and firmware because they know the risks, unlike...

New Phantom, never flew yet, got big question

What mode is your transmitter (TX)? If you pull the throttle stick down it should stay there. However I have seen advertised, spring parts for phantom TX to make the throttle centre like the pitch and roll. This may be a new safety feature so if in a panic you just let go of everything in GPS...

    Hoverfly Something Big?

My Xaircraft X650 Pro with WKM flies just fine on firmware 5.26 so have no issues at all with it. Although I did have some worrying issues with 5.20 and 5.22 (never tried 5.18). There are a lot of people complaining that 5.26 falls out of GPS Hold to Atti mode. This has happened to me a...
