The logistics would be easy. Cut 4mm stud to lenght and loctite into motor. Feed other stud thru motor mount slots and put a nut on back side. Just thinking out loud here. If I get superx I can do a vibration analysis with and without.

Your prop of choice and why?

Adrian. You prefer the tmotor wood or cf?

Your prop of choice and why?

I'm gonna use 17 if my uaw is 9kg but if It's a bit more like 10kg I'm gonna use the 18" as per the kde motor data. It's a 1000mm hex.

In that other thread there was a lot of talk about reducing vibrations. Balancing props and levelling motors. I have seen the kloner vids on levelling. Has anyone tries something like this between the motors and motor mounts to reduce the resonance from traveling down the arms?

Steve. I've been reading a thread on the xaircraft forum about heavier lifters to which you have contributed. It seems many of the guys are having trouble settling the craft down. They cannot dial the gains in perfectly. You are having great success on your hexacrafter which will not be...

Superx looks pretty simple. I am sparing no expense on this build but I need to ask myself if the wkm is twice as good because it costs twice as much. If it's 10% better I would still buy it but I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that.

Your prop of choice and why?

I'm gonna be in the market for 18" props. I have no bias whatsoever on brand or material type. CF tends to be more expensive than wood or plastic. In my mind, that does not make it better but if it is I'm willing to pay the price. Many of you guys have first hand experience on trying...

I hate to say it guys but I'm leaning towards xaircraft. The way I look at it, if it does not meet my expectations I will dump it for a $100 loss. No big deal. There is some great testimonials out there and a couple bad ones but all brands have that.

GoPro will soon be manufacturing drones.

I'm sure gopro is big enough to just buy DJI with all its patents. That would be the best move. My experience with gopro has been their customer service is top notch. They answer the phone! Wow what a revelation.

I'm building my own. My first build. I absolutely want GPS/atti/rth That's where most of my flying will be. Waypoints are cool. Don't know that I need them on this bigger machine but having the option is better than not.

Folks, I have been doing a boat load of reading on flight controls. So many opinions, good and bad experiences on every brand. The research is making me dizzy. Some say A2 is awesome. Others say it's plagued with problems and that Wookong is the best Dji choice. I'm also looking at...
