    FPV Tx Rx advice

She will reach out ther, no problem. The problem is that on a small frame like a 550 you would probably end up stepping all over your system! Honestly, you don't need much power, it's all about the antenna. 1.2 is great for range and burning thru trees and such, but honestly, 5.8 does a hell of...

What is accepted as "normal" motor vibration?

IrisAerial, here's the deal with balancing motors. It's worth doing, and a huge time consumming pain in the *** to do. When you thing you've got it right, it's great, but one little scuff up with the ground will throw that motor back out, as will time as the bearings wear out. I did it to my...

Futaba or Hitec or who?? Need HELP picking a radio to support GPS RETURN TO HOME NAZA

Ok, here's the deal about powering up led's when using s-bus. The buss inside, both positive and negative are active, has to be. So, you can, as I have done, plug your led's into these unused ports to power on the led's. However, you can not control them with switches, as that function is now...

    OMG - It Worked......

Congrats! As to your first question, no, control in failsafe is autonimous. To regain control, flip off the failsafe switch then toggle out of the mode you are in and back again. Control is then released back to you. Please don't try turning off your radio. No sence taking unnecessary risks...

Futaba or Hitec or who?? Need HELP picking a radio to support GPS RETURN TO HOME NAZA

My personal favorite, Futaba t8fg. S-bus is the way to go, eliminates a lot of wires. The rest of the open ports on the recviever you can then use to power led's. I used several Spectrum radios on my heli's, but when I went to multi, Futaba was my choice.

    HexaCrafter HC-650

Absolutely a thing of beauty there, Vin!!! Can't wait to see the vids and hear your impressions. Good luch with the maiden! This is one of the kits on my short list. Especially now that they are going to offer longer arms. Not sure I would ever need them, but still,,,

GoPro Hero 3 black - additional FPV camera still needed ?

Chris, I could be totally wrong here, so take it for what it's worth, but I believe it has a lot to do with ntsc/pal not being anywhere as sensative. Interresting question, though. One that I know I would like to know the true answer to, also. I use a dedicated fpv camera and have it bolted down.

NAZA detecting aileron input at zero trim?

I don't have a Naza, but I do have a WKM. As I understand things, when calibrating with assistant, it is imperative to have the controller perfectly level. I use a very accurate bubble level, ( only cost $8, ), to level out the controller before calibrating. After you write, that is the...

    My first FPV flight

Actually, I thought you did a pretty good job of it, considering. Laughed my *** off when the dirt biker waved you off! I'm sure that wasn't all he did, either! Probably not the best spot to try out fpv for the first time. Best take it out in the country somewhere. Reminds me of my first few...

The more I read, the more I'm confused

Glad to hear it! To make it even better holding position try setting up your gains. Mine holds just spot on, (WKM), and flying fpv it's an excellent tool to have. Just let go of the sticks and give yourself time to sort yourself out. Really helps with flying LOS, also. I've flown manual a...

    My first FPV flight

Hey IrisAerial! You got a good chuckle out of me just now, reading that. Flying fpv without osd and without a controller that doesn't have gps or a good hover capability at least is not for beginners, for sure. Throw on that Naza/gps combo, keep your altitude up there until you get used to it...

    Mikrokopter Is mikrokopter finished??

What a great vid, Ross! I know back when I got into this I took a serious look at MK. At the time, about a year ago, there were a ton of people jumping ship for DJI. I, for one, gave up interest for MK, not because of the abandonment of MK users, ( you really have to take all that with a grain...

    Wookong Woes

Actually, it's been mentioned more times than I care to remember. Run your vtx and camera off a seperate battery, never off the main pack. This wouldn't suprise me at all if it clears up a ton of your problems. Right now, if your vtx and or camera is powered up by the main battery you are...
