Our heavy lift flat okto's are just under 7kg (15lb) with two 9Ah 6S batts. Our X8 okto's are a bit less. This is for airframe only- no gimbal or other payload. Would be curious to hear AUW's of other rigs. Just the airframe and batts, no gimbal.

Mikrokopter would be another possible choice for flight control. The latest firmware has very nice GPS/waypoint functionality. Fairly significant learning curve but pro level performance.
