Where do you order prints from?

So I was wondering where is the best place to order oversized prints online. I just placed an order with Apple because they had the best prices, and it was super easy since I already had everything in iPhoto. I'm open to suggestions though. Who do you think has the best service for photo prints...

Are you using the Voltage Monitor?

Thanks for the info, Gary. I'm going to give it a try this week. I turned it on over the weekend and it seemed to be a little buggy (reporting low voltage with freshly charged cells), but I'm sure it will straighten out after I tweak the settings. -Terry

    Strange pulsing of power.

Wow, i'm glad I asked this question now. So am I the only one that has seen this problem without the Herkules set up? Once I went back to the 10 inch props everything has been great. It's actually flying the best that I've had it yet. No more wobbles when in GPS mode (had to align the compass...

Are you using the Voltage Monitor?

I have several low voltage alarms, but I was asking about one built into the DJI. Just wondering if anyone else is having luck before it try it.

    Strange pulsing of power.

Avroto short shafts and 30amp DYS. I haven't tried manual yet since I swapped the props, but I might give that a go tonight in the garage. Now it's got some kind of yaw issues. I haven't taken it outside yet for a real test, but just hovering and I can see a yaw that needs to be trimmed real...

    Strange pulsing of power.

That seems to be about the right speed, but mine is a little more violent. It will jump up and down and almost bounce when you trying to take off. I put the 10x4.7's back on it's it's all fine now.... except for some yaw issue now.

    Strange pulsing of power.

Hey gang, So I have a problem that I think I have figured out, but I wanted to run it past you guys and see what the verdict is. On my x650 frame with the DJI WK-M, I have been running 10x4.7 apc props since I had it. It did ok, but I wanted to try out the 11x4.7 ones I had waiting on the...

Are you using the Voltage Monitor?

I remember seeing a few folks complain about the voltage monitor early on. I guess it was draining batteries at a much more rapid rate or something? (I don't recall exactly) I was just wondering if this is the case and if you guys are using it. After having my quad drop out of the sky for the...

    GoPro HD vs GoPro 2

So after a couple of weekends of comparison, I'm liking the GP2. There are a few things I didn't expect, but over all I'm happy with the photos that I can take. That's what I use it for most, so for me it works. The thing I did not realize till after purchase is how the FOV set ups work. It...

    XAircraft Exploding props

I agree. They have the same hubs with the flat spots, and the prop itself just looks the same. There has to be more of a partnership between these two companies than they are letting onto. Even their demo videos seem to be shot in some of the same locations.

    Antenna and Receiver

I've seen others do the same, so probably not. I have mine velcroed to the back of my monitor with no problems. -Terry

    Stuck for a decision

Also, you don't have to order that frame from Russia. They have a US distributor. http://www.coptersky.com/ -Terry

    Stuck for a decision

Something to note about the x650 frame... it's not actually a 650 sized heli, they just put that number in the name for god knows what reason. The motor to motor size is just over 50cm, so it's about the same size as the other kits you were looking at from Russia. Also, you should be able to...

    GoPro Blurfix

Hey Dave, I saw this lens on Amazon a little while back. Is there any benefit to using it besides the addition of a filter? Does it also correct the massive fisheye of the GoPro some? Thanks! -Terry

    A beautiful day off

Found some time today and yesterday to play with the new Go Pro HD Hero 2. I like the 8mp 127degree FOV still setting the best. I thought I could do this FOV with the max 11mp, but it turns out you can't. Not that big of a deal, but I was looking forward to 11mp and ended up getting 8 in...

    Setting up RTH

Hey gang, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on something for me. I'm trying to set up my RTH function when my radio is turned off or I lose connection. I've never set up a fail safe before, so I'm not sure I understand what is supposed to happen. I turned on the option in the...
