Become A Model Aviation Mentor. Help Others In Our Sport!

We all love model aviation no matter what the form. Some like airplanes, some helis, others like multirotors, or RC cars and boats. No matter what you like to do, or if you like all of them in one form or another, we all had to learn that skill at one time. We were not born with knowing how...

    Motor Thrust & Qty Question

I know the general rule of thumb for quads is to select motors with twice as much thrust per AUW, but does that hold true for hexis and octos? I was wondering if we can get away with using smaller motors on those. Thanks, Frank

Where To Buy Multirotor Products In The USA

Instead of jumping into this hexicopter purchase with both feet, I am doing a ton of research. The first thing I came across that was not apparent was where I can buy a quad or hexicopters since many of the same stores I dealt with for RC stuff does not sell multirotor stuff. Here are some...

I'm one of these "new guys" you are talking about. I do not think I have done this much research into buying something for less than $600 (my budget) ever before. From what I understand, the flight controller boards seem to be the most important part of these multirotors. From my research, I...
