    Did my first aerial panorama

Hmmm Sky... We are talking here about a spherical panorama, in which you can look all the way around and up and down. For your set up, I would suggest portrait orientation of camera. Try to organise so that the nadir (south pole) is in shot in the bottom of the frame. I suspect that will be...

    Did my first aerial panorama

A good set up for this would be portrait mode, images should have an overlap of 30%, A quick look also suggests that five portait images would be good.... however if you set up for an image each 10 seconds, get some more, ptgui can handle it. Hugh

    Did my first aerial panorama

    Good Sunday morning everyone!

Not Sunday but Friday 11.11, I went to a seminar about art and war... one subject was about a US Drone programme called 'Bugsplat.' Apparently Obama has raised the drone launched attacks on Pakistan and Afghan suspected terrorists to a level not seen under Bush. The sad thing is that a hit, or...

    Frames made from folded aluminium

http://www.robofold.com/ Just tripped over this link today. Strikes me that thin folded material might make a good stiff lightweight structure. And the manufacturer is looking for co-production projects too. Best to all Hugh

    This hobby doesn't come cheap!!

Too True Gunter, I started a project on a 35 story block of flats last october, didn't finish it until May this year!... One time I travelled to the site in Ilford, bright sunny day and at the top it was shrouded with mist and that was after climbing 25 stories with a camera bag tripod and...
