Hello Chris, now everything is working! I made two things, can't say which one was the one that solved, anyway: i downloaded the very last release again (i had a 2.2 sw whilst now online is 2.4) and then just went all around with the endpoints until i found the places where the skyline did what...

Thanks Vinnygogo, so it is possible.... Ok good news then, i'll keep on trying new endpoints until i get them :tennis: Nicnaimless: IMO yes, sure: unplug the original pots and change them with the dummy ones

Anyone had success in disabling the pan (or the three axis) stabilization through the extra connector? Any hint? I can't get it to work however i set the travel limits and this is a problem as both my gimbals are 360 and have landing gear attached to the gimbal TIA Claudio

Hello Jelte, it is not really a "issue", i have the same setup, the positives and negatives are respectively pins 3,4 and 8, 13, 14. In another skyline batch they have added some more gnd and positives, 1 and 11 and maybe others. I know they are going to give full connections schematics very...

Jffry7: check that the three pan input connection go exactly where Andy's schematics say the must go. I moved the pan input positive to another positive pin and had the same problem. Positives and negatives can be connected to more than one place....all except the pan input as the pan input...

Hello, manual tuning is not button, it is done in the tuning windows by manually changing the values in the tilt, roll and pan servo center boxes. It involves removing belt and mechanical connection of the roll servo and ticking the "servo ON" option in the low left menu. The procedure to do it...

I agree. And feel i better clarify my message to Vip: If you have the 1.2.0 you are ready to carry on the partial modifications (only PH know what the definitive ones look like), set it up manually (only tilt and roll, no pan) and go flying. In fewer words: it is still a beta....but in my...

Mitypsilon: i know they're at 1.2.2 so possibly your issue is already old (i know this may sound bad but understand it the right way). Whilst waiting for the official release: i'd try manual tuning, it takes really a little to do it. Vip: as i can't see it named in your post i guess you're...

ppmsum is a great solution a fourth pwm channel to switch on and off the panstabilization is another very good solution If none of the above is applicable we could have the option to activate or deactivate the pan stab by some sort of code with the existing channels? i.e. 4x quick "up" tilt...

Before buying even something so small as some resistors i would wait for PH infos about the new fw, wiring and (if any) required modifications. They're the only ones who know what our Skylines will need and look like in a few weeks (or days, or hours). Just my opinion

Honestly i think that trimming the radio is the easiest way to solve that, it's just normal that you need to do that IMO. Thomb: you connect the skyline to the Pc using the Pan Input exactly like you did before. The roll input remains the roll input, must be connected to the receiver and is...

Someone made me notice that in my previous message indicating how i set the servo center i made a mistake indicating that i set the servos to ON before saving the values just found. The right thing to do is to set them to OFF before saving, sorry about that. I edited the message too.

Sorry, i was not clear enough, my fault: i meant that in that occasion (when i couldn't center the servo) the reason was that i connected the plug reversed. Tilt pot to tilt pot ok...but reversed, like when you connect a servo reversing signal and negative, hope it is clearer now. As i said...

As Nickville already said there are some differences in the connections between the two sw. The only occasion in which i haven't been able to manually calibrate a servo (in 1.1xxx) it was because the pot connection was reversed. Another cause for the servo not stopping might be if you are set in...

I quote Nickville about the autotune, so far i have been far happier with the manual (advanced) tuning too The values of the center you may try vary from varios thousands negative to various thousands positive, i find the right values by trial: After disconnecting mechanically the servos i set...

Great news then! Can't wait to update the signature with the date of the next fw release. Unless..someone wishes to send it out and have another tester: right now it's plenty of light (and sun) here in North east Italy :nevreness:

I must admit i'm a bit disappointed to learn that PH is abandoning the pot control in favour of the std pwm, skipping the servo response curves was a definite plus IMO but i'll wait for the update and judge by myself hoping i'm wrong. Nickville: i guess a positive side note about the pwm control...
