Big DJI announcement - Inspire 2?!?!?

Yeah I've heard that, but you are well within weight with an Epic and a relatively light cine glass such as the new Leica Summicron-C serie for instance. I'm still studying this thing and I still have a few questions in the air, but the demand is here for us.

Big DJI announcement - Inspire 2?!?!?

Bart, thanks for your kind words. I will definitely keep you posted. Funny thing, I've just been contacted for an upcoming project here in Colombia with two A-list US actors. I'm seeing my bank next week and will put the order in. The only thing is that the M10 will not fly on the upper side of...

Big DJI announcement - Inspire 2?!?!?

Yes I am in that camp, and I am very fortunate, all the hard work paid off. And yes, for the price it is unbeatable. I've pulled some quite amazing footage out of the Inspire, and it has been very quick to get the best out of it. I hate DJI too, with passion, but to be honest, my first S900...

Big DJI announcement - Inspire 2?!?!?

I can list much more things that come before an engine failure flying an hex or an octo.... A quad, on a major production set, is merely a backup...

Big DJI announcement - Inspire 2?!?!?

I have an Inspire as a spare rig. It's also a love/hate affair with this little bugger. Love the HD downlink, am not quite fond of its handling in windy situations, it seems easily overwhelmed, and have seen some jello. The image is unbearably sharp even toned down, so much that one client (a...

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

I have one as a spare rig, but while it is a very capable little platform, the image suffers from an unbearable amount of sharpening, and the TV network I work for has already warned me that they would no accept anymore Inspire footage... :(

S900/A2 tipping over at take off from boat...

That's a great asset. We tricked the A2 into thinking that it was stable powering the bird holding it in up the air. And yes, any failure and that's a wet bird.

S900/A2 tipping over at take off from boat...

That was definitely the movement of the boat. We were on a schooner in a formed sea, we changed plans and took off from the beach. Problem solved, shot in. A technique we later tried is to hold the copter still off the deck while powering on. I got a stable arm and liftoff.

S900/A2 tipping over at take off from boat...

Looking for some advice here. I'm currently on a wonderful schooner, and we need to make aerial shots of it. However, upon arming the motors, there's a evident excess of power to the rear engines. Copter is as usual, nothing special, and does that in all modes. I'm thinking that the boat...

There's nothing insulting in saying that every time someone points out a potential problem or ask if there's any kind of flaw, information which seems of the first importance to me and many others, I feel like I'm reading directly from the Freefly website. I agree that we are still very early...

I'm sorry Steve but you seem a little bit like a fan-boy here and every question ends up in oh the incredible guys at Freefly, the amazingly incredibly fantastically exciting thingy Alta, it looks like I'm reading an Apple press release on a new product. I'm looking for unbiased, objective view...

    A2 vertical speed limit - I only get 4 m/s - why?

My 10c Multistar will shoot it up at max speed. Not that I really need it in my line of work, but still. Also got 16 minutes out of one today, impressed.

Steve any bad point you are seeing with this copter ? Anything that could be a disappointment ?

Would flying a stripped Epic with a cine glass on an M10 be right on the edge of the MTOW ?

I too am waiting for more feedback. There are just a very few out there, and before shelling out $18k I want to make sure this thing is as good as it seems. Freefly is certainly good at communicating and the Mövi system speak for itself. But flying an Epic or an Alexa Mini is an awful lot of...

Yes, my bird is nervous in ATTI but soooooo smooth in GPS mode, buttery smooth, a dream. What gains are you using ?

This is no doubt my next copter but I like to get as much info as I can before diving in. I'm currently flying an S900 that I know very well, it's been very good to me, but I've had to shoot for the past week in the jungle in ATTI mode, and I can't say that I'm a huge fan of it, especially in...

I'm not trying to compare apple to oranges but am asking a very specific question : what is the copter behavior when GPS is not available ? Or hasn't anyone yet flown in this mode yet ?

How does the Synpase FC compare with the A2 ? Specifically in ATTI mode (if there's such a thing) ? GPS works great with the A2 but I find ATTI to be a pita for precise, repeat takes...
