    Hexacrafter HC800 Build Stsrted

Sorry, it is motor #1, not 6. I viewed the video wrong. Does that matter though, that it is #1?

    Hexacrafter HC800 Build Stsrted

Here's an update. I switched the #5 motor with the spare one I had. I flew it this morning and it flew beautifully, I had the 15" props on. However on start up I saw some hesitation with one of the other motors. I then set up a video camera and filmed it being started and stopped several times...

    Hexacrafter HC800 Build Stsrted

Here's another thing I did not mention to anyone. I guess I was embarrassed. The first day I flew it I got too close to a branch and hit it. Shattered the wood prop but I replaced it and thought every thing was ok. I don't remember which prop and motor it was but it very likely could have...

    Hexacrafter HC800 Build Stsrted

I have been having some issues though. I was flying it Saturday about 50 feet up doing a turn and all of a sudden it starting jerking around and then it started spiraling down. I tried to control it but it did not seem to react. I thought a motor went out. It landed level on the grass and no...

    Hexacrafter HC800 Build Stsrted

Well this build has taken a lot longer than anticipated. I am still waiting for the WKM but the build is pretty much complete. Here you can see the landing gear, HC gimbal and battery trays. Normally the double battery tray would have two batteries attached (in parallel) but that would make...
