You can fly FPV in realflight on any model, its called cockpit view.They don't have any official MK vehicles but they do have some multirotered craft you can download free. That's what I praticed on going from fixed wing RC to heli's and multis. It was invaluable.

The DX8 is both DSM2 or DSMX depending on the receiver.

The DX8/AR8000 sat. are fine. I fly with it all the time. No worries. The DX8 did have some issues with the vibration function but it only affected certain PID #'s and unfortunetely mine was one of them. I sent it in had it back in a week and all is good since.

Lightroom3 Bart, it's awesome. Hard to say it's worth the money but all high quality programs are expensive. BTW shots look great.

My video TX also has sound output. When plugged into the Vixia with a audio and video lead I get sights and sounds. Not only good for what you describe but also for hearing that Low Voltage alarm at a distance!:eek: To answer the question, it's not needed but it is useful.
