I would suggest that you don't try it! If my experience with DJI firmware is anything like a fair representation of general update success rates, you have 100% chance of ending up with an unsupported brick!

The monitor is a part that you will also use for future builds. Suggest you get a good one now. A good sized one too, at least 7". No good if you can't see much, you may well kick yourself if you get a crappy little one now. Have you trebled you original budget yet ? ;)

I didn't fly after checking forecast. High Kp (NOAA gave 7+) and gusting wind to 35mph. Shame it was a beautiful morning here in Wiltshire, first one for some time. Did you experience problems yourself or did the forecast put you off too?

Interesting that DJI state that a downgrade is possible. No doubt everyone is waiting for someone else to try it first! Not that DJI would let firmware be released before trailing it properly..... hard luck if it's out of warrantee! I'm not bitter, just twisted and out of pocket.

Argh! I just upgraded the gh3 firmware as instructed in assistant and everything has gone nuts! Red lights flashing, switches reassigned, video signal lost, gimbal has lost its orientation and assistant states gh4 in top left corner! What is the fix to reset to v1.4? How do I do it? Please help...
