What is the next step up gonna do for me?

Well, you've always had a great eye for detail......you're attention to quality, perseverance and occasional risk taking (monetairally and method) are to be commended......that is why I follow you around on the web.......!

What is the next step up gonna do for me?

I've been following your vids for years.....back when you strapped a keychain camera to a pusher plank.....you're quality has always been better than the average. Now that you're doing this for a living (or planned retirement...lol)....I can see the reason marketing the GoPro stuff could be...

What is the next step up gonna do for me?

That explains the nice ride.....lol......Spektrum managed on board........seems to be a seamless set-up for a Gopro.

What is the next step up gonna do for me?

I find the resolution and focus quality of that vid to be pretty good for a GoPro without a sophisticated gimbal.......curious was that shot FPV or LOS....and what size craft carried the camera......?

    Walkera vs Blade

I too went with Blade......price was an after thought. Had programmed and flown both previously......also biased towards Spektrum, which was a plus. Walkera was a pain in the butt to program and keep dialed-in, needed frequent firmware up-dates........ and stock, sloppy GPS and RH.

    Li-Po chargers and USB ports

I seem to remember these questions when the search for a new mini quad was still exciting: "My questions to the OP are...... 1) Do you want something that has a good life span, you can grow into, durable, predictable (will provide decent learning skills and confidence), good vendor supported...

deciding on my first outdoor quad

Quite frankly.......$229.00 to $250.00.. (Blade 200QX)......for a mini quad that will last, perform and provide great teaching and confidence for as long as one cares to stay engaged, is really not that much of an investment in this hobby.....trust me, I've built and flown CCP heli's and large...

deciding on my first outdoor quad

No problem Odin....I just hate to see a guys enthusiasm take a "turn for the worse" after fighting with the inexpensive toys, spending more $$$ keeping the thing in the air and eventually walking away thinking all these "gadgets" are the same.......even if the initial cost is...

deciding on my first outdoor quad

I've flew one at the local Hobby People shop when they 1st came out a couple of months ago...... The Good It flies alot like an Alias. It is very stable, but outdoors it lacks power to overcome a stiff breeze. You will "fight" it to maintain control in banks and hover. It will survive the...

deciding on my first outdoor quad

My questions to the OP are...... 1) Do you want something that has a good life span, you can grow into, durable, predictable (will provide decent learning skills and confidence), good vendor supported, RTF/ARF/BF and parts availability...? 2) Or, do you want something that will require...
