Unfortunately we get flicker on the recorded video... it usually happens when the aperture is stopped down beyond f11 - it might be vibration affecting the aperture blades? I need to get a varioND filter to keep the aperture @ f8, where the lens is sharpest...

Looks pretty good to me!!:encouragement: btw, do you get any flicker with your NEX? We use the 16mm on the 5R and we get a very annoying flicker on some shots that I can't quite pin down...

4k is not of much use for AP due to the low frame rate - 2.7k however allows for post-stabilization and cropping without loss of resolution, if the final output is 1080HD.

Yeah, I could live with the weight, it was all the glare and reflections I was getting that made this arrangement a poor choice for me... I found out I was holding the Tx almost up to my face to get the video screen out of direct sunlight, even with the hood attached, and that was totally...

Also, with the screen attached to the Tx it gets very bad glare from the sky. Best to just set it up on a tripod.

The 7" & 8" monitors are brighter than the 10". I have the Foxtech 7" and I'm happy with it. I was originally going to attach it to my Tx too, but after I tried it I took it off - it was too heavy and unbalanced. Consider that you need a video Rx and a lipo to power them also.

I haven't weighed it, but it must be similar, I also have 600mW Immersion tx, and Graupner telemetry instead of iOsd. Lipos are warm to the touch after flight, I'd say maybe 40 deg C. GensAce packs have IR of less than 2mOhm/cell, only ~12 flights yet!

I fly a similar configuration S800+Zenmuse+NEX 5R+retracts with the 10000mAh GensAce. Current draw hardly ever exceeds 45~47 amps.

Even the expensive CF or wood props cost only a fraction of your entire rig, especially if you have a nice camera for filming and fpv gear etc., not to mention the possibility of damage to property or ...people! Better safe than sorry.

Can't really answer as I don't know where you are located, but you might need to be a little more patient - afaik ImmersionRC had some production problem and are just now back in full production, see their facebook page
