    Quad is gone/fly-away

Finally I've had some light on what might have happened. I also posted this story in another forum and got a few replies from some more experienced users with the same setup. From what it looks like according to their description, the Naza will not activate failsafe if it has a "fuzzy" signal...

    Quad is gone/fly-away

Thank you everyone for the very kind words of support. At the moment, I will need to get funds back up slowly to get a replacement QAV because of the investment I've also made on the computer that I also bought to do the video editing, which was quite a sizable one. Thank you also for the...

    Quad is gone/fly-away

Unfortunate post - my QAV is now a goner. Along with 2 GoPro Hero2's, 600TVL Super HAD fpv cam, Naza w/GPS, Graupner e-props, MT-4006 motors and a couple of 2500 GensAce 4s lipos, basically the best of what I could put on it. It literally drifted away during a flight earlier. It was a bit...

    Lipo connectors

Thread has gone quiet, but just thought I'd share. Not Deans nor XT60, but these are what I use. I find them to have a better locking mechanism because they're already tight, plus the plastic area has a locking tab. And they're also a bit bigger so easier to grip with fingers for pulling apart...

    Naza RTH

That's good to hear. I thought it wasn't the normal behavior. I am using 2.4 Futaba 12FG, fpv is 1.3ghz. Not sure how far out unfortunately, as I don't have OSD yet. But thank you for letting me know that the 180 turnaround is normal. Took me by surprise :)

    Naza RTH

Hi all, wanted to quickly ask - When the failsafe activates on the naza by loosing signal on radio control, is a quad supposed to do a complete 180 in the air and fly back to home at speed? Reason I asked is, I FPV'd for the first time yesterday and while I was at already quite some...

    Futaba 12FG and Naza failsafe

Hi Muunk, Do you mind clarifying what you meant by switching around channels 3 and 4? Did you mean switch the ch 3 and ch 4 cables from the naza going to the rx? Or switch them around only in the 12fg? (Function) Sorry for the questions and hoping you could help. Thanks in advance

    Futaba 12FG and Naza failsafe

Thank you pozzix for the suggestions, unfortunately I'm not sure if those will work with futaba as it doesn't use a bind plug. I can definitely try though. Helloman- is your 617fs operating on FASST 7ch or FAAST Multi? I went in to the radio menu and saw that if it's using FASST 7ch, only...

    Futaba 12FG and Naza failsafe

Hi folks, I wanted to ask if anybody has experience setting up failsafe on the naza w/gps using a 12FG. I may possibly be wrong, but it appears that I can only setup the throttle channel to failsafe (instead of gear?). Please help kindly if anyone has had the same experience. I am using the...
