Large commercial machine with LIDAR with WP's - which FC?

I was looking for a commercial grade Pixhawk controller to gravitate to after the 3DR Pixhawks run out. Found this at Drotek, http://www.drotek.com/shop/en/home/478-dropix-flight-controller.html who just happen to offer an L1 RTK system.

Large commercial machine with LIDAR with WP's - which FC?

I do love my Pixhawks, but I wouldn't hang $100,000 under anything for a 'newbee commercial group'. What's the application?

First build, F450/pixhawk - feedback requested

I've had good luck with Drotek and GCS shop. Some of them come configured for Pixhawk and you don't have to program the board. 'Front' can be a little hard to determine...

First build, F450/pixhawk - feedback requested

Pixhawk: Try to get a 3DR original if you can find one. PixHack and PixRacer are decent substitutes. Many knockoff Pixhawks seem to develop problems. GPS: Ublox Neo M8N is an excellent upgrade from the standard 3DR Neo 6. Mine get 18 satellites vs 12. Good stroke on the Mobius. See Bart's...

    Inventory Conciliation with Drone

You might want to mount two cameras left and right on a square carbon fiber tube. Then fly forward down the center of the aisles. Adjust how close to the sides you want you photos by varying the length of the rod. I know that GoPro has interval photography of 1, 3, 5 seconds, etc. I'd check...

    Inventory Conciliation with Drone

You could make it simpler by setting your camera interval to take a photo at set intervals. Then adjust your flight speed so that the MR is in the position that you need for photos. LidarLite could give you accurate heights for multiple passes through the racks, and you might consider two...

    1080 vs. 4K

I'm no expert, so I welcome any corrections to my perceptions. But I believe that frame rate is as important as file size. 1080 30 is slightly fuzzy compared to 1080 60. 1080 120 can be slowed down to give nice slomo shots. The faster frame rate (think shutter speed) is important to MRs because...

A Giant Step for Micro Drones

Micro Drone = 4.4 pounds (2kg) or less. Amendment would enable immediate commercial activity. I could charge money for flying 4 of my 5 MRs! Just a little excited...

Hello all.. new and have some questions..

Keep the aircraft within visual line of sight at all times I just don't see this as a problem. 'Within visual line of sight' is a location/place. It does not say 'Look at your MR at all times.'

    Eggcellent drone PowerEgg, coolest ever?

If this turns into a fund raiser, don't.

    What FC

I'm currently a Pixhawk fan; but if I hadn't started with Naza, I'm not sure that I would have figured out the Pixhawk. The Pixhawk does almost everything and has multiple paths for customization. But it's those options that can cause you trouble until you become educated about what they all do.

    Video Out of a Hero4

Good that you're being cautious. I remember some issues with the GP 4 and the disco pro. TBS solved it with drivers or firmware. I can find you that thread tomorrow if you want.

    Video Out of a Hero4

I can't vouch for that exact board, but it looks very much like the board that comes with the TBS Disco Pro. You have the option to charge from the flight battery and to switch downloads between your FPV camera (fixed) and the gimbal mounted GoPro. It's great for verifying your shot...
