I was looking for a commercial grade Pixhawk controller to gravitate to after the 3DR Pixhawks run out. Found this at Drotek, http://www.drotek.com/shop/en/home/478-dropix-flight-controller.html who just happen to offer an L1 RTK system.

I do love my Pixhawks, but I wouldn't hang $100,000 under anything for a 'newbee commercial group'. What's the application?

Keep the aircraft within visual line of sight at all times I just don't see this as a problem. 'Within visual line of sight' is a location/place. It does not say 'Look at your MR at all times.'

I'm currently a Pixhawk fan; but if I hadn't started with Naza, I'm not sure that I would have figured out the Pixhawk. The Pixhawk does almost everything and has multiple paths for customization. But it's those options that can cause you trouble until you become educated about what they all do.

Good that you're being cautious. I remember some issues with the GP 4 and the disco pro. TBS solved it with drivers or firmware. I can find you that thread tomorrow if you want.
