i've got a bunch of Turnigy batteries that seem to work fine although one out of every order seems to be a dud. thunderpower batteries are way expensive and my two are puffed after 5 months of use. gensace seems to be a good compromise in that the ones I've ordered have worked well and they're not too expensive. I recently bought two more and will probably order another two today plus we're using them in my son's RC truck as well. i've also used the blue lipo's from hobbypartz.com and they were about the same as the turnigy packs.
if you happen to choose the gens-ace or blue lipo packs, you can click the hobbypartz.com banner on the homepage to enter their shop which will post a very small commission to the site's account. turnigy packs are fine if you're just getting started but just keep an eye out for weak cells in the packs they send.
