    VulcanUAV 900 Y6 with VX5N 2-axis gimbal and Nex5R Camera

I once managed 18 minutes on the Turnigy Nano-Tech batteries, but in all honesty...I drained those lipos much further than I am usually comfortable taking them. 12-14 minutes is a much safer flight time.

    VulcanUAV 900 Y6 with VX5N 2-axis gimbal and Nex5R Camera

I am selling my 900mm VulcanUAV SkyHook; It's currently configured in Y6 format, but I have the other three arms available if you'd prefer to make it a flat-hex. This includes the 12mm rail mount system, dual-side battery trays and a quick-release for the included VX5N 2-axis gimbal. It...

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

Not with those props, no. They have a 6mm center bore which fits the 3508 motor without any adapter at all.

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

I'm using 12" wood HQ Props with Sunnysky 3508-KV700 motors. Sorry, I don't have any APC Slo-Flyers around the house to compare measurements. Good luck!

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

M2.5x5 should work just fine. And, yes, the M3x6 screws are what I used to mount the SunnySky motors to the extended arm.

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

No, the elongated screw-mounting slots do not cause the screws to vibrate. And yes, those mounting holes will work just fine on the AIMDROIX aluminum extended arms. I'm using Sunnysky 3508 motors with mine, they work wonderfully.

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

I haven't used the extended plastic arms, so I can't compare those against the extended aluminum arms. As for the aluminum arms vs. the 'stock' arms...there is some difference in video quality using the same gimbal for aerial video work. It's not a 'night and day' difference...just a minor...

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

I've never used them, but these don't look bad: http://www.rctimer.com/product_845.html (although, you may want to go with the smaller props and 'normal' arms while learning. When I think back to my early learning period, I can think of only one crash hard enough to damage an arm. I did...

Aluminum arms for dji flamewheel frames

I love my hex with the extended AIMDROIX arms, but I would definitely recommend using the cheapie plastic arms for your first multirotor. Even if you intend to do the vast majority of your flying in GPS and attitude mode, you should still learn to fly in Manual mode in case of emergency...and...

    Tiger ESC problem

Are you using the T-Motor T30A Opto Pro or the T30A? Also, can you be a bit more specific than 'it does calibrate I thing'? I've not used T-Motor ESC's before, but a few minutes of googling found: http://fpvmanuals-1997231222.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com/graphics/Tiger-ESC-Manual.pdf On page...

    DJI naza wobbling

Ok. Ideally, you should have the GPS mounted some distance away from the receiver and the Naza flight controller. I have mine atop a 6" folding mount (similar to http://www.rctimer.com/product_1030.html ) for example. Which direction is the 'arrow' on your GPS puck pointing? Also...what...

    DJI naza wobbling

While loose screws could result in vibration, they are not the most likely candidate. Have you balanced your props and motors? Also, how are you mounting your Naza flight controller to your frame? How is your GPS puck mounted?

Please help me select some props

Also...Is your craft a quad, hex or octo? If it's a hex or octo, are you using a flat or co-axial configuration?
