No BECs, directly to the Naza.

    Gimbal servos not working

The X468 Flamegear XT servos are analog, so I bought Digital servos to replace them. I bought Turnigy TGY-306G, they fit the Flamegear servoholes (with small adjustments, filing and scraping). They're strong and work up to 400hz, which is the maximum hz-output of the DJI Naza.

    sun on the barometer

Just came in from a testfly, with small drops. I had my vertical gain on 250% which is max, and decreased it all the way to 100% in 10% steps. It still drops on Atti-mode, but it never drops when hovering but as soon as I start flying forward/backwards or sideways it drops. Sometimes it just...

    sun on the barometer

So the dropping only occurs in Atti or GPS mode? I'm having trouble with mine dropping now and then, even if it's covered with tape and I also put a piece of reindeerskin (don't ask why I chose that "fabric") between the Flamewheel F550 plates to cover it for sure. It's still dropping a few...

    Confusing autopilot configuration

My Naza is confusing me. I've tried to get the hexa to oscillate, but can't get it to oscillate. My autopilot gains go up to 270% without oscillating, is that normal? I tried to get it oscillating in all flightmodes. I got the vertical gain right, my hexa started bouncing up and down (only a...

    Gimbal servos not working

I have a X468 Flamegear XT gimbal on my F550 Naza, with Hitec HM-65MG analog servos attached straight to the Naza F1-F2 ports. But they are not responding. Not when flying neither in the Assistant software. Gimbals are set on 50hz in the software, as they should (?) for an analog servo. Anyone...

GPS signal above the Arctic Circle

I'm experiencing bad GPS signal here in Northern Sweden. Calibrated the GPS a few times, and tried my F550 Naza GPS in several locations. Anyone know if it has to do with where I'm located, or if might be placement of the GPS device or anything else? Im in a town called Kiruna in northern...

    Constant beep

found the problem. It was one of the Gimbalservo-cables that was crappy. I mounted a 6v battery for the RX and the servocable started smoking/melting. Pulled it out of the Naza FC, and I'm back on track again. Let's start configurating :) wish me luck

Got myself a new VU, swapped it with the "old" one. But the **** is till beeping. I think the Naza FC itself is smoked. Happened to anyone before?

    Constant beep

RX is reset with a 2-pin shortage, and TX reset and calibrated with RX. Tested them with a servo, working good. Hooked it up to the Naza, still no USB or light. And still beeping. I even wiggled the VU cables, but no luck. I'll wait for the new VU, and start over again :)

Well, the thing is.. the mini-USB port ain't working, so I can't do anything PC related. Don't know how old it is, the swedish store might had it on the shelf for a while. But it shurely helps to read the forum and see what kind of problems other people encountered.

Here are 2 pictures. one with the upperplate with gps, and the other with the receiver next to FC. Im resetting all the TX configs again, resetting the RX and then binding them again.

    Constant beep

The F550 is disassembled by now, except for the bottomplate soldering and the arms. So there's not much to see. The TX and RX are Walkera 2801Pro and Walkera 2801r. But thanks for the help anyway, you guys made my evening a lot much easier and you minimized my swearing. I was gonna use the F550...

    Constant beep

Yeh it probably burned. Instead of the warranty bureaucrazy, I just ordered a new one for 20 bucks. I peeled the heatshrink off, and as far as I could see the cable connections looked ok, but I couldn't see that much more. The thing is bound, as I got to config the TX/RX with the Naza...

    Constant beep

Yep, the RX and TX are bound. A friend has used them before with a Helikopter, I just re-reconfigured the TX. Solderpoints are good, the VU + & - reads 11 volts a few millimeters off the solderpoint. The VU has been fastened to the bottomplate all the time and hasn't been moving around. Tried...
