    WKM Crash at takeoff

I have had a similar near miss, investigated it and this is what I came up with. If you hold the sticks to the center position to arm the motors BEFORE the remote has fully switched on (as in you rush switch it on and rush to arm and get in the air.), it can cause issues. What I found is that...

    GH4 Remote shutter

Hello, I know it may have already appeared in a thread somewhere, but search isn't coming up with anything at all for GH4 but is anyone aware of any remote shutter/record, pause hardware for the Panasonic GH4? I'm in the process of upgrading to a brushless gimbal w/ GH4. Thanks!

Anyone else struggling to get hold of the CAA?

I did a shoot the other day within Gatwick's control zone. Spoke to the CAA who passed me to NATS who passed me back to the CAA, then back to NATS. Seemed like nobody really knew what to do. Eventually I spoke to the Gatwick tower, got it all sorted with them and was able to proceed with the...

Flying on an Airline with LiPo Batteries

I flew on a BA flight from London City to Malaga. I had notified them before the flight but got to the airport finding a lot of contradictory information about how many I could take and a lot of clueless staff. Their regulations state you may take 2 large and two small LiPo batteries in your...

    BNUC-s flight test

Hello all, I am taking my BNUC-s flight test tomorrow, the chopper is working magically including all failsafe features etc but I have a couple of questions for someone who has done this before. First of all, I'm doing my test at a location that appears to be a model airstrip. Now in terms of...

    MT3515 and Maytech/SimonK doesn't like each other

My Hexa was one of the ones in the post you mentioned (Here) This rig flew without issue for a year, with DSLR or similar weight cameras then as you can see in my video all of a sudden it went down. Mytech ESC's, given the recent issues you mentioned I'm going to see if I can find something I...

    WARNING - Firmware 5.24

5.26 made my compass not function at all. There were random high speed altitude increases upon takeoff, yellow and green flashes all the time (even in ATTI) and GPS didn't work at all. New compass didn't fix the issue, but dropping down to 5.22 made it fly like a dream!

    WARNING - Firmware 5.24

Just an update. The downgrade to 5.22 worked a treat. No more switching, No green and yellow even when climbing. Flying much better on 5.22!

2014 - best ESC at the moment?

Here's the post about my incident. It appears as though one motor went out of sync, followed by another. As it's a hex, losing one was OK, but when two went it was game over! However my ESC's still function, I' just heeding others advice and swapping them all out I can't risk it...

2014 - best ESC at the moment?

I think my recent incident was caused by a combination of Maytec 40A ESC's (simonK) and Tiger 3515 motors. A few people on here have mentioned there are some issues with Maytec ESC's and some tiger motors. Can anyone shed any light on this, or have any recommendations? I think i'm jumping ship...

    Major compass issues

I think I have found a major contributing factor, I'll downgrade to 5.22 and see if the issue eases. http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?13101-WARNING-Firmware-5-24&highlight=yellow+green+flashes
