Yes, you do need the interface and software to program the radian modules. Not exactly plug and play. If you're still interested I'd be willing to sell you a single radian and freefly servo for $300 shipped. You would still need to purchase the interface from Quadrocopter.com.

It's approx 2 years old. I used it on my y6 for about a week while waiting for the WKM and haven't used it since. I can ship anytime.
