So...I have made some successful flights with my F450 and FPV. I am running specktrum gear with Fatshark dominators and emmerson 600mw Tx. I want to start a small ground station. For right now it will only be a TV for spectators to see what I am seeing. I m not sure if I need to buy another...

I guess you kind of answered it...I was asking, since the Rx has a memory that we set the throttle to 50 % when signal is loss in order for the RTH to work...if we are done flying and the quad is on the ground with power...and we shut off the Tx first, won't the Rx think signal is lost and...

So...if I have the fail safe set...and the throttle set at 50%, or even 40%...does this mean if I forget and turn off the transmitter first, the motors will spool up to that setting? Thanks Ben

Yeah, you were right. It is the number of HOLDs. Are holds signal loss? So, I could see how that would keep it in failsafe mode. Its a Spektrum ar7610. I have the remote back up stretched out along one of the arms and piggy backed on an ESC. But the main RX is attached on top of the 450...

Maybe I m not understand where, or what my failsafe is. I only have two position switches. At the bottom of the assistant there is a calibration of my 5 th channel, my gear channel. I can only switch between GPS and the other side as ATTI, MANUAL, or failsafe modes.available on a drop down...

Ok, here is something. On the assistant at the very bottom edge there are two lights. A red and a blue...then next to the lights it says MODE: Failsafe and MC OUT PUT: Off. That must mean I m in the fail safe mode right? How can I change that?

No...I can't arm them with my tx. However, I did test them with the assistant, so I know the wiring is good.

Well...I changed it to manual mode and switched 11 times...still flashes a steady yellow. Don't give up!!! What else can we try?

I don't have 3 position switch on my ds6i. But I switched from GPS to ATTI 11 times and still got the steady flashing. Maybe change the switch to GPS and manual for calibration?
