Is it possible to connect head tracking port from fatshark goggles to a Devo10?

Right, solved this problem myself. So for future searchers - using the Fatshark trainer cable for the JR receiver (a 3.5mm stereo jack) and a stero to mono converter from Maplins: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/35mm-mono-plug-to-35mm-stereo-socket-adapter-fk14q Works a treat, outputs to channels 5,6,7

    naza m v2 beginner questions

I hadn't played with any of the settings, I think it was just on as default. Just wanted to confrim that what I saw happening (the 50% cut in power) was the battery protection stuff kicking in rather than anything else. I've now adjusted the settings, and its' working a lot better now and I...

    naza m v2 beginner questions

Only taking my first steps with mr flying, so still getting used to lipos and flight times. Went out just now to have a quick flight, and after about 8 minutes, whilst in atti mode, the power suddenly reduced (landed gently though). My voltage alarm (set for 9.3v) hadnt gone off, and the...

    Want My first fpv CAMERA

Still a beginner myself, and only looking into fpv, alot of people seem to use 600tvl ccd cameras like this for piloting: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SC2000-600TVL-Plastic-Housing-Camera/dp/B00I0O79J8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ph_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1ZQM1JT3MD716X2RYS9B At £30-60 a go, and smaller, it would...

    1st build questions and frustrations

Went out just now to have a quick flight, and after about 8 minutes, whilst in atti mode, the power suddenly reduced (landed gently though). My voltage alarm (set for 9.3v) hadnt gone off, and the battery had 11.2v on the meter the battery wasnt warm to the touch (neither was anything else)...

    Early days FPV Newbie questions

Hello, I'm new here (and to flying MRs) Currently running a DJI F450 with Naza M V2 & GPS, and learning to fly it LOS (and will be for at least a few months), but my long term plan is to go fpv, so I'm starting to do my research into what I need. (I'm also not sure that I won't build a custom...

    1st build questions and frustrations

Right, managed to get another load of flights in at the weekend, following the routine you set out (mostly). Now very happy manoevering it about nose out, and pretty happy nose in too (thank god for all those years of R/C Car driving), what should I be thinking of doing next in terms of...

    How windy is too windy?

How do you judge when its too windy to fly? Is it just trial and error and experience? I guess the power of the MR makes a difference, but really just after a rule of thumb. Its a little blustery here, but im keen to get out and have a fly.

    1st build questions and frustrations

I had plenty of space in front of me, but trees behind, was flying it a good 200m away and over shot bringing it back turning against the wind, better flying site than yesterday with at least 5 marked football pitches. Just think I should stand in the middle! As I said, just think I was bit...

    1st build questions and frustrations

So another fairly successful couple of flights today, including letting it get a bit further away, I found having a light on the back really helped with orientation, and I was happy letting the altitude creep up too. I did do a bit of tree trimming which wasn't so good, 2 tangle incidents...

    1st build questions and frustrations

Thanks for the tips guys. Had a really good first couple of batteries today, happy with some stable hovering including nose in, a bit scared to let it get too far away so far. Lots of work to do... Was careful with the batteries, flying about 6 mins per pack, but landing to check voltage...
