First Crash with Impact...

So my first crash, just playing in my backyard while I get the documents to go to the forests…

Bartman did an extremely good job building a DJI 550 NAZA GPS for me (in about a week) and gave me a quick induction in fine New Jersey. Since arriving back to laos a basic reassemble was completed, then I practiced my take off and landings. But as an (smart arse) enthused student I started getting cocky, I popped it off the ground but promptly brought it down too low. It’s camera mount clipped first so it did a small nose dive, flipping onto its top (quite gently but on concrete). Now I cannot get the propellers to spool. There is no visible damage (apart from slight furry tips of the rotors), I have power to all LEDS and put it on the assistant to see what it might tell me. To me it looks normal. Can anyone help me with the next phase of MC fun, trouble shooting after mishaps?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can share such lessons learnt and I look forward to sharing my steps to getting a LIDAR under a MR in the coming year!

Cheers,

Richard

Hexa - I think not - I cannot see a brand on them apart from they 30A, OPTO, specialised Multirotor.. with a few more numbers.

Yes I know I am an amateur and should have started with a build up!

If one ESC is not working will they all not work? I think it is time to check with a multi meter?

Cheers for your help hexa.

little more help please.

Comrades. I have fixed it. Checked all the plugs.. then back again!

Now helpful people. I have full battery, then single yellow led's flashing before take off, then get red crazy lights in the air. I know compass may need calibration or another issue. but how do I eliminate issues?

thanks for your entertainment if a novice.

Hope I can find some other people in a similar or slightly advanced situation?

Cheers.

glad it's working again. look at the chart i gave you to determine what the flashing lights mean. you may have difficulty getting GPS satellite signals in Laos, you'll have to see as you fly it more.
