fun project, has it flown yet? more motors is good up to a certain point but with them you begin to lose efficiency, or so it goes. i like the redundancy play as I've seen my heli fly without motors and props which a straight quad or tri-copter couldn't do.

Hi Dan,

Great job! I think you will need to stiffen your frame a little bit, but at least I know what pain it is to solder everything together. This is the first "flat" hexdeca I have seen.

24 well, at least there are 24motors in the air, but they split up ...
