DJI OSD - Video Output Connector Voltage High

Prior to wiring this unit in I decided to check the voltage on the video output ribbon which has twin POS and NEG wires (for twin TXs?).

I connected the OSD up to a charged 4S LiPo and read 16.65V ... This is too high to feed my 5.8Ghz 200mW Tx which like many others uses 12 to 15V

Anyone got any ideas?

OUCH - its a pass through connector. I connected a 3S and the voltage matched it exactly.

I find this a bit surprising - a 12V supply suited to external cams would have been nice. Will just blank these wires off.

I've got the OSD working but only with a Samsung NX200 camera which has its own power. 11.3 V isn't enough to power my 12V Pixim SeaWolf FPV camera (I got a bit of B&W flickering initially).

Does this mean that none of the power outputs will power a 12V FPV camera?

when this was mentioned last week i knew it was gonna screw things up......

airwave vtx use 2-4s lipo power,,,,,, the 11.2 or whatever would be fine, but it takes an immersion vrx like uno or fatshark goggles receivers

Made for fpv my ***.......
