Naza GPS Setup

I'm having some difficulty getting the 'Control Mode Switch' setup correctly in the software assistant with my Spektrum DX8 Controller.

I've watched some YouTube videos, and they've helped a lot ... but I'm stuck in one area specifically.

Getting all three (GPS Attitude, Attitude, Manual) to high-light blue. I've managed to assign the 3-way Flap switch and get (GPS Attitude) and (Manual) working set at 80% and 90% ... but can't seem to get the middle one ... Attitude to align up ... and turn blue. Am I missing something simple ... sure I am.

Can anyone help me out?

Its usually about 84% 86% to get all lighting up blue but if your struggling you can also use sub trim on aux 1 channel to adjust slightly.
Hope this helps

GPS - anywhere between 88% and 92% stays blue
Manual - anywhere between 79% and 85% stays blue

I've tried increasing one, then switching to the other ... still can't seem to get that middle one (Attit) to light up blue.

Sub trims on Aux 1 channel?

yes...... adjust your subtrim till atti lights up with the switch in the middle, make sure to hit the middle of where it lights up. if it stays blue 10 clicks, go back 5..... then open your end points and adjust them to make gps and manual light up respectively. if you want the switch the other way, reverse it before you do all the trimming

You think I could find that sub-trim !!! ... No Sir.
Determined not to ask such a simple question and with no luck from Mr. Google himself I packed it in.
Today I gave it another look ... and sure as sh!t in a cat ... I found it, right off the hop.
I even found an answer to another question I had in the back of my head. (Reverse)
I didn't like the idea of turning on the receiver and having that GPS switch enabled. (position 0)

No issues with having (position 0 on Aux1 set for manual) is there? (I'm guessing no)

Thanks for your help guys, I'm sure I'll have another Blonde moment soon enough.

It seems sleeping on her did the trick :)

Thanks for helping with the 3 main flight controls. (AUX1 Reversed with 86% and 84% and Sub-Trim 10-)

I've searched around and have decided to use the Gear switch for my fail-safe by mixing the gear and aux1 channels. (is that ok?)

I've got that working, but only with two flight modes. (Manual and Attitude) or (GPS Attitude and Attitude)

I can't seem to link the 3rd fail-safe in. I've even played with the Sub-Trims and settings for each.

Here is what I have setup for the MIX

GER > AX1
Rate: 60% and -30%, Offset 100%

That being said ... right now Manual mode, doesn't have a fail-safe. Any reason for me to?

my manual mode failsafe switch doesn't work either, your all set, the mixing only makes it do it in atti and gps. when you make or set your failsafe in the radio with a jr/spektrum, rebind it with the failsafe switch on and a little throttle. to set 2 failsafes in that, you have to remove the bind plug after booting the rx but before turning ont he tx with the bind button. it's int eh manual under more than one channel failsafe. if is futaba, you gotta mix in the failsafe window to make it do the same thing

Thanks, will keep added to my favorites. I managed to get everything working after though, I had been out doing some tweeking. Everything appears to be pretty good, but some serious counter-closewise Yaw in Attit mode. Gonna have to do some reading up on that one as the trimming doesn't seem to cut it out completely. That being said, there was a pretty good breeze going.

Brookdain: your video is pretty helpful I have to say.
kloner & quadcopter: thanks for the replies, they helped me.

Thanks for all you're help.

put your trims back to neutral and turn up the rud gain. like 130, if it still turns uncommanded, bum it up 10 at a time till it stops
