I fly a Droidworx SJ8 with emax 2820/07 motors & 60A ESC's from hobbyking. I also use nanotech 4S 4000ma lipos...works well, plenty of power & have never been above 80% throttle!!!!! I also use APCE 12x6 props.

sorry for my English! weight in the 5s 4000? I have seen on the maxamps.com 4s lipo 11000mha 820gr and are very effective compared to other lipo, said a friend, but they cost $ 300

hi Ross thanks for your information
do you have tried pro 13? i think Perhaps you'd better efficiency and more payload

To be honest with you I havent tried 13" props yet! I find the response to be a touch slow even with 12" props ;)

great, seeing the evidence of ecalcrc, 13x4 actually going to be able to sit still in the margins of axi motor amperage for me but going up as you could pitch a little ...
Thank you all for your information really very nice :)

Your motors could burn up in windy situations.
Takeoff weight will probably be more like 6000 gram

/QUOTE]

How do you figure that it will burn out a motor? I don't trust eCalc, it never made any sense when I put my specs into it, I don't think it is setup properly for multicopters. I don't think those will burn up. In fact that is a recommended configuration for this type of setup.

for me its time of flight has always guessed the algorithm based on the parameters ecalc for me at 99%, a little less on the absorption, but is very close to reality.
