That came out really well! Was just contemplating repairing my gimbal, tm6500, cheap POS. May just make something like that instead.

Hi, great progress, that was really interesting to follow, thanks for sharing.
I have the same stuff here, i think i will try to mount Jacubs LG+ Gimbal to te F550 now before i'll work on the x468 Flamegear.
Can you show where you have drilled the Bottom Plate, difficult to see on the video. Wich mods did you on the Gimbal?

Meme i see also in your video the same jerky on gimbal pitch, i have your same landing gear and gimbal of quadframe.com, so i suppose is not naza or my digital hitec servo but is the gimbal not so stable. What you think about it?

Yes, i think so too. But.. the Gimbal`s cost is about 50 Bucks and 2 servos, so i think the result is ok for that price.
The more i tweak on Gimbals and Copters the more i learn that if i need really great Video Quality i have to spend some 1000 € in Platform and Gimbal, there is no other way :)

That seems a really good Gimbal, i am also interested in that. The Question is if the F550 with Stock Motors will carry that weight w/o problems? Gary wrote that with Graupner Props the Motors stay cool.
I use the original DJI Props, but with less weight and some of the DJI Stock Motors become very hot after some minute airtime. Need the Graupners, but they are sold out everywhere
