Ryan there is not real need. At the same time the dampeners are there and don't weigh a lot so why not use them for that ! On the other side yes every component will be happy to be isolated from vibrations.

Sorry haven't answered you PM yet will get to it tonite

Boris

Fair enough, it cant hurt by isolating them. If you didn't have the cs dampners, would you go to the trouble of adding dampeners to the board?
Thanks for that.

Okay started with the placement of the WKM components and installing the Herks with the ribon cable and the micro match to servo plug converter.

Since the herks are placed under the center plate the ribbon cables are a bit long. I shielded them with cat 7 foil. Micromatch plug in the herks
are hot glued in case some vibs hit the boards and cause the micro match plugs to loosen. Elkos like said fixated with silicon.

Hmm parts are dirty think time for a cleaning session.

If i finally had my parts i could start placing the RX and the LED and give it a test flight hmm but still have to wait.

krleas, I am a little worried out the center plates of the CS8 to take extra loads and yes I want to do payload test up to 12 kg full setup. Should I have any worries like support the center plates ?

Thanks

Boris for heavy lifting CS we always use 2 bottom plates. So 1 on top and 2 on bottom.

Very impresive numbers. They are just halve I got with the same engines, load and airscrews but with 6S vs 8S. In watt therms there difference is way high.
