I'm not 100% sure if this lens fits that camera. i know 3+ was something about a new lens...... I will include the face plate and the part that goes around the lens, it's a secondary plate behind the face plate so it might all be mute if you used that. but i'd research it more

Now that you mention it, you are right, there was someting said about that. I am going to check it out on my side as well. If anyone has the information, feel free to chip in. It it fits my cam, you got a buyer Steve.

Yes, fully aware of the task at hand involved in a lens replacement. Would be great if it could only be screwed back on like the Gopro 2 and 1... No choices here...
