Hi everyone

last week, i got my new Frame from Droidworx. i'd like to update my smaller and selfbuilt Hexa to make it stronger and more stable.

I want to post the build of my hexa here und for sure, some pictures will follow

and I will weigh all the parts individually, so you know their weights

Weights of kit used to be on the DW site but now due to what I guess is the amount of options it is hard to write. It would be interesting to see your weights.

now i was mounting the crash cage and the dome. the cage is very stable, really... im very impressed.

after them, i mounted my tiger motors on the motor mount and put everything together. Now, I have finished the naked frame! The buildtime for this frame is very low!

now, i'll want to dissamble the cage/dome, so that i can install my little power board (specs for "over 100A)...at the moment, i'm not sure, if it can handle the ampere, but i'll installing the EzOSD too, so i can survive the level of ampere....i hope, it works

Hello out there

I want to use the apc sf 14x4.7 ... For the proposed weight of my hexa....about 5.5 - 5.8kg.... The props works very efficient, if i trust ecalc.ch

But now, i'm not sure, if the hexa is too heavy for the props....the middle of the props looks to me very weak. and what's about the max RPM with 65000rpm/inches (thats the limit on the apc website) with my 600er motors.... What do you think?

Eldar. Thats great on the weights. I dont know the Naza that well but I would say with 600KV motors you are going to want to up your cells to 5. I use 680KV on 5 cell with 13x6 Xoar carbons and she is very nice to fly. I tried 4 cell but I just did not enough rev's.. But thats with a WKM FC

@Droider; thx, but at the moment i won't change to 5 oder 6s, i have a lot of 4S accus and my ESC's aren' made für 5s oder higher. that means, when i will upgrade to higher voltage, i have to buy new motors, esc's and accus.....perhaps in half a year

now, after i soldered my little power board, i was so insecure, that my powerboard will handle the 150A (@maximum .... if i ever use the max), so i orderd this one:

after installing it, i'm feeling much more safer

the first picture show's, how it doesn't work....you have to isolate first the CFK and the edge of the powerboard....otherwise it smokes :/

but now, everything works and as soon the weather is nice, the first testflight outdoor will come
