Feedback Needed

Hi guys,

I’m new to the forum and into the whole Multirotor world.

First, I would like to thank everyone at this site for such amazing information source. So, THANK YOU!

Second, I’m putting together a kit and I would like your input if you can help.

Bird: OctoKong (http://www.rc-drones.com/octokong-kit.php)
Controller: http://www.rc-drones.com/DEVO-10-Transmitter.php
Landing Gear: http://www.rc-drones.com/CarbonCore-Batt-tray-AV200.php
Camera Mount: VX5N Brushless Gimbal for Sony Nex5 RTF (http://gothelirc.com/shopdisplayprod...ch=Yes&sppp=20)

Haven’t really thought about batteries yet but I’m sure something like HYPERION G3 VX 5400mAh 4S 14.8v 35C or something similar.

Before I pull the trigger, I would like to hear you pro comments

and suggestions.

Thank you guys!

Get a reputable radio. You dont want to find out that your erratic flying was due to buying a cheap radio. If you were flying a lady bug or a f450 maybe but go get yourself a Futaba 8fg super or JR 9503. There's no excuse to buy a nice octo and have a cheap radio controlling it.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will sure do that. Anything else you guys can think of?

Thank you once again!
