International air travel with LIPO since the new regualtion have been implemented?

Was there not a recent change in regulations that limited shipping of Lipo's?

I have read the other threads, According to them there have been no issues traveling with Lipo's.

Im just trying to be thorough.

Thanks

Here is another thread on MR forums that should provide more complete answers:
http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?5702-Flying-on-an-Airline-with-LiPo-Batteries&highlight=Transporting+batteries

Please note that the IATA regulations seems to imply that the batteries be stored in cargo but most domestic flights require the batteries to be stored in carry-on luggage!!!!

There is also an approach to justify more batteries and/or capacity based on the percentage of lithium per battery being in the range of 30% relative to the weight of copper, plastic, polymer..... but not sure just how tech savvy the airport staff would be with supporting that argument.
