After dropping my HS120d on top of a very tall tree, my husband got me a HS700d. What a difference, and not good. I live in a heavily wooded neighborhood and my flying area is above the trees, at about 100' or so. HS120d does everything I want in a beginner drone. After trying to get pix of a buck down the street, I wasn't paying attention and my baby drone landed in a pine tree, stayed there for about a week until I found someone strong enough to knock it back to the ground. Great drone, still works.
In the meantime, hubby got me the HS700d. It won't maintain connectivity enough to do Tapfly, but it will Orbit fly, no problem. Because of the trees, distance is limited to less than 600'. Sucks.
Other than my baby drone, are there any other drones capable of flying above the trees?
thanks, y'all!
