I think you could carefully trim the plate as shown.
The only traces that you would cut through would be the unused ESC solder pads.
You will have exposed + & - traces at the edge of your plate, but you could then take a sharp knife and cut through them a few mm inboard.

Most pilots set it between 40% and 50%.
That way if there is intermittent connectivity (or a lag in reconnecting) between the Tx & Rx, and you're in Atti FM, the airframe won't just drop like a brick...
Can you connect to the Assistant?
If so, can you see the FM changing when you cycle the S1 switch?
That means you should be able to do a Compass Calibration.
Disconnect from the Assistant and do the 360 degree dance.
Now connect to the Assistant and do an Advanced IMU Calibration.

I have no idea why the Bluetooth connection could be failing when the devices are that close.
That's regardless of how far away you fly.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable in cellular technology will see this and offer a suggestion.:grey:

If it's an error message, it's not one that I'm familiar with.
Naza's error messages are in a XXX-ERR format.
The IMU on a Naza is in the Main Controller (MC).
It refers to the Internal Measurement Unit which is the gyros, accelerometers, and barometric sensors.
This probably doesn't help much...
