This is killing me ... I screwed up and upgraded my phantom V1 with the red and white Naza in it to the most recent version ( 4.02 ) Now I can't get this beast to work right to save my life ! I can't get the compass to calibrate, it threw a fit on my spektrum receiver and wouldn't see it at...
yes it has been my experience as well. I am about an hour away from readymaderc.... I might drive over one Saturday morning and just take a look at them ( possibly pick up a set as well ) I know that metal tends to transfer harmonics ... but I am also considering hard urethane spacers between...
I know the stock arms flex considerably and I suspect that due to that fact, the rotor disc's changing attitude would cause a wider range of harmonic vibration to be transferred through the frame. ( wow that sounded really geeky lol ) But seriously... I think with the less flex, it would make...
Anyone have an idea if using these arms helps with vibration or jello ? I have noticed that the stock 550 arms twist rather easily. Do these tame down that "twist" ? If it does... do they assist in lowering the vibration to the center plate ? They look pretty cool, just was curious if anyone...
Sony HX9V camera takes awesome video. I have been battling jello on my F550 on this thing. I have.... Balanced props, balanced motors, put a urethane cushion under the motors, put an antivibration mount under the camera on the gimbal, built a box out of coroplast to put the camera...
I've seen the few popular ones advertised
Zenmuse
Tarot
Arris CM 2000
there any others out there that are good gimbals that have a decent price tag on them ?
I saw a thread about the one on Goodluck buy that caught some guys Phantom on fire.
LI've not seen a thread out there comparing all the...
I have 6 used DJI stock motors. All have been upgraded with Gothlirc bearings. One is missing the C clip (it shot across the garage and lord knows where it is) I've upgraded the motors on my F550 so I don't need them. Looking for $100 + shipping CONUS only.
I'd like to set the pitch on my flap knob on my DX8... I have an AR7000 receiver on the F550 I am flying with the Naza. I'm using a simple 2 axis gimbal... pitch and roll. Is it possible to assign the pitch to the knob, and if it's assigned... do I lose the auto-pitch from the Naza gimbal...
ok have the 9 inch props balanced and installed... and the gains adjusted and the Naza checked on calibration that when I clicked "write" that my throttle stick was at 50%
will give it a try tomorrow weather willing.
Also here are pics of my hexa.
OK.... I have some 8" props I'll give it a shot with..... If "overpropping" causes the big jump from atti to manual... then I'll prop down from the 10" props and see what happens. Would that increase my throttle response in ATTI and GPS modes then ? Just using my airplane experiences with...
If I am overpropped... shouldn't the motors and esc's get hot ? ESC's aren't even warm and the motors are barely even warm. I am landing with about 50% of the pack left and no ability to fly more in atti or gps mode... but if I flipped to manual mode... I could fly another 3 minutes if I wanted...
I've been flying my F550 for about 2 months now. I just installed the GPS add on to it and have the Compass calibrated.... the failsafe and RTH set.... and all is going good with it. The one problem I am having is this.... when I am flying it... it seems that in GPS and Atti modes... I spend...
OK... 4 flights in at lunch today.... so far... 7 flights total... no flips... Speed controls the issue maybe ? I am real careful now when I pick it up... not to grab the arm and the speed control also. We shall see... 4 more flights tomorrow weather permitting.
