Hoverfly xOcto vs. +Octo for aerial videography

I am setting up a Droidworx AD8 with Cenestar 360 gimbal. What are the considerations for choosing configuration: xOcto vs. +Octo ?

With a hex its a bigger decision as having a "x" will possibly keep the props out of view a little more. but on an octo i dont thin it will make tht big of a difference. So it is realy personal preference for visual orientation. It's easier to focus on one boom IMO rather than 2 with different colors. Personally i run an XY8 config which solves almost all problems.
