WKM Power Cable

So, my F550 build is coming along quite nicely! I purchased a Pulse 6600mAh flat pack and wish to use that as my power source. It came with an EC5 connector. Like a fool I lopped it off and soldered in a dean connector to mate with the existing power harness supplied with the WKM. So stupid. What I'm left with is a mess.
What I'm going to do is change out the Xt60, the board's Deans, and the male side of the power harness and install all EC5's. Then I'm going to put an EC5 back on the battery pack and hook the whole thing up with a parallel EC5 cable.
What do you think?

:upset: My brain is definitely turning to mush. The above plan makes no sense. Since I would be lopping off the XT60 to the PMU anyway, I'm just going to solder the leads to the battery pads on the bottom board and make my life simple. Then I'll have the one lead coming out of the bottom board that I can use to attach to my battery. Done.
I'll swap out the crummy deans that I soldered on to the battery like a boob, and I'll replace the deans on the power lead cable that I made up. Done again.

Get yourself a nice cup of tea and relax......but you will be alright with either XT60 or EC5. I changed everything I got (all Copters, Lipo's...just everything) to XT 60...no more hassles.

yes, XT60 is where I went and all 12-10Gauge wires... just order a larger quantity and keep it around.. .. though, I am looking at those XT90 or the HXT for higher amp for larger power requirements. your F550 should be happy with XT60.. Even the EC5 would be fine.. Sounds like you are trying to standardize.. which is good.. eitherway.
