I am just getting started on connecting my Data Link. I am reading the software is only 32 bit supported (windows 7). Has this changed? I installed the software, but had to individually install everything, It was not as the manual shows. Could this be why?
Any other tips / tricks that are out there, I would be very thankful.

Thanks in adavance

Hexa Crazy
Here's my basic thoughts.
1st time
1. Keep it simple. Entering click & go, using keyboard... requires a specific series of entries....Like you have to click the "pause" button to enable the keyboard controls...etc.
2. Make sure you have alot of open space.. no trees or buildings.
3. Make sure you have the traditional TX nearby and understand how to take back control with traditional TX if needed.
4. Make sure you understand that EVERYTHING is in meters not feet.
5. In click & Go you must be very aware of the speed & elevation you enter.
6. You should probably fly where you have internet first.
7. Practice going between click & go, keyboard, go home & regaining TX control with plenty of battery.
8. Keep it close until you feel confident in your ability.

Have Fun.
It's a bit scary until you are confident & trust the equipment...just like going from visual to instruments in a full sized aircraft.

@ araines2750 ,

With regards to #6, what will having the internet be a benefit? Having the internet is always a benefit, I just thought it was always a good thing "NOT" to fly near internet, (interference).
It will for sure be scary getting used to. I dont really have a smaller (cheaper, crash worthy) Hexa. So I am sure the pucker will be quite apparent...
