KK Flight Controller What am I doing wrong with kk2.0

Hey guys, I just installed my KK2.0 onto my DJI550 clone and the first problem I had was a no throttle signal error even with giving throttle. So I went ahead and installed the latest 1.5 firmware. No when I turn the unit on it says OpenAero not safemode. There is no video or instructions for this, did I install the wrong firmware?
Also should I have my DX8 set to Acro or heli and if M1 on the board is front left do I make M2 thru M6 go clockwise on the hex?

I found the correct firmware, but I am still having a no throttle problem that I forgot to mention. Give it full stick and nothing. I tested escs individually just connecting to the rx and motor and they spool up fine. What am I missing?

What happens when you give it the TX command to arm the board?

There is a "Receiver Test" setting on the front menu. It shows what you what the KK2 is getting from the Tx.
Have a look there before you mess with anything else. If the KK2 is not seeing the sticks move (in the right direction) or any movement, check that you have binded your rx properly.

Now when I try to arm it giving R rudder w/no throttle I get nothing. No led either. If I give it left rudder it beeps w/no led. If I reverse the rudder on my DX8 I get same results, just reversed. I can't seem to find an answer on the internet, but I've found people w/ similar problem.

Do a factory reset and then rebind and see how you go.

I was getting the same response after I flashed with the version 1.6 firmware this morning, went through and checked settings and it all came good after a rebind.
