What 5.8 channel do you use?

It occurred to me last night that of all the time I've been flying FPV, I've never switched from channel 1 on my vtx/rx. Have any of you seen much of a difference in performance from changing the channel you use? Which channel do you use if not the default?

I had bought a tuned set of antennas and had them tuned to 5800mhz so always flew ch4, 5800

to the best of my knowledge, if you got ibcrazy sets, there designed after the same ch4 on airwave give or take whatever he lets fly

I never knew the IBCrazy cloverleafs were built for a specific channel, I always though they covered a range of frequencys and indeed they would have to to work with any TX on the market. This past weekend I was easily getting clear video out to 1900 feet on channel 1 on my Immersion 5.8 using one of his antennas on the TX and one of his SPW on the RX, that's 5740 according to the book. This weekend when I go out I'll try channel 4 (5800) to see if makes any difference at all.

I usually leave the settings at default mainly because no one else was flying FPV at the field I fly at so it didn't matter until just recently when another guy got into it. Now one of us will have to change from default if we fly at the same time since we both have Immersion gear.
