\O/ Hey guys!

Happy New year and all the usual sayings! :highly_amused:

I am a starting photographer & I would like to get into Aerial Photography/Videography. I am on a budget for this project as many of us are. Times are hard and errors are kept low.

I was thinking of a good and sturdy VULCAN Hexa-copter frame that I could in the future extend to a octo easily. Its the best quality value I have found.

Can someone please tell me what motor/esc/propeller combination I should put on that frame to be able to lift 1-2 kg?

I would like to use the Hoverfly Pro Flight Control board. I also have the Aurora 9 optima 9 receiver.

Thank you very much for your help! :livid:

Welcome, good to see mother Canadian join the forum.

Just a quick note if you are planning to do commercial work is that it requires a special flight operations certificate from Transport Canada, part of which will require UAV liability insurance. Just something you may want to allow for in your overall budget.

Are you new to rc or have you other flying experience?
