Hey everyone, just another newbie checking in from flyover country! Of course I got here by way of: Savannah, Ga; Camp Hovey, ROK; Ft. Hood, Tx; Mobile, Al; and finally Hanover, Ma.....so, yeah, I've been around the block abit.
RC and flight have always interested me, though not specifically together....My Father had a Wild Willy Jeep (pic borrowed from the internet...):

I had a uncle that had a helicopter that he crashed alot, and I dabbled in RC Cars while I was in Savannah....but flying something myself? Nope. (Until I win the lotto and get my pilot's license.)
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I got a hair up my ... and decided that I had to have a FPV Quad, so I started researching and buying, with the idea that I'll build and fly it without the FPV parts until next season which will allow me to a) save for the good stuff b) do the right thing and get licensed: should be fun.
I'll read more than I'll post, but wanted to say "Hi" anyway!
