I just had a DJI F550 Hex W/Naza V2 built for me by Multirotorheli.ca the camera Gimbal has no independent UBEC 6V connected-Gimbal servos directly powered by MC.The manual for the Gimbal states to use UBEC 6V.Is it necessary or not with new Naza V2?If yes how do you connect?I assume you remove red wires that connect to MC and direct connect to UBEC split black wire from servos and connect to UBEC?How do you power UBEC?From original battery? From another battery?2S or 3S?If anyone has a minute to show me a diagram I will seriously owe U one. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Which Gimbal do you have?
The VTR-GP needs a 6v supply - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17158__6V_3A_UBEC_2_5S_Lipoly_6_23v_.html
The Brusless one needs 7.4v - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/..._5A_UBEC_2_5S_Lipoly_6_23v_UK_warehouse_.html
I have both and use UBEC on both.

The wiring diagram for the VTR-GP can be found in the support document page 7 - http://www.aeroxcraft.com/content/downloads/VTR-GP_Manual%20v1.2.pdf
For the Brushless version a standard UBEC with a 2.5a 7.4v output is just the job.

Hi para9111, I have an F550 as well and I just built the same gimbal system as you have, I also built the F500 landing gear from the same company. At first I had my gimbal servos plugged strait into the Naza but folks in here had recommended that I use a separate bec so I removed the top plate of the 550 and installed one. I am using the Castel Creations BEC set to 6 volt and have soldered it strait to the main power input on the bottom board. I just purchased 3 servo extension leads and cut them in half and proceeded to make up my wire harness from there. Yes you must remove the red wire going into the Naza. I followed the wire diagram in the instructions on AeroXcraft's web page for that gimbal. I have only flown mine once so far since installing the gimbal due to weather and while the unit is not as nice as a brushless one it does get the job done. I also purchased my landing gear and gimbal from Nabil at Multirotorheli only mine was the build it yourself kit. I had forgot to tighten down one screw on the gimbal roll axis and it was shaky in the video, I have since tightened down the screw and cant wait to take it up again. I am running a 5000 Mah battery to power everything, no separate battery is necessary as it will only add weight .View attachment 12514
Thank you for the reply greatly appreciated. I have the Aeroxcraft GoPro Tilt Roll Gimbal highlighted here http://www.multirotorheli.ca/collections/camera-gimbal-gorpo/products/gopro-tilt-and-roll-gimbal it states in the manual 6V supply necessary. So should I use a 2 cell battery? How many Mah u think is necessary?1000mah 2S?

If you add another battery it would have to be a 2s but a personally I would use a UBEC to save weight. The draw on the battery is not significant so will have little impact on the flight time.

The support page shows the instructions how to build and directs you to a wiring diagram:-
