Thunder Power dead cell

I have flown 3 times on this 4s 6600MAH ThunderPower lipo its a g6 25c. On my ad-6 30a esc's with axi 2814/22 motors. While flying at work and luckily over grass from 6 feet up it lost power and dropped, i still had control and electricity just not enough to lift i guess..... Upon checking things out I found that When I went to charge my lipo it was showing 4s but only 11.8 volts. My LHS tried a thunder power charger hes got and couldnt repair, is this something i should go straight to TP about or to quadrocopters where i bought it?

Also my other concern was is 25c enough? I assumeed it would be considering ill likely see 70 ish amps in a hard climb out.
Thanks

So what does the C rating on a lipo mean? For starters, the C in C Rating stands for capacity. To break it down to its simplest terms, the C rating is the maximum safe continuous discharge rate of a pack. If you see 10C on your battery, it means it can be discharged at 10 times that pack's capacity. Capacity refers to the milliamp-hour rating of the battery, which will be listed as a number followed by mAh (2000mAh, for example).
Here's the easy way to find your battery's discharge rate just multiply the number from the C rating by the pack's capacity. Keep in mind that 1000 milliamps equals one amp. Here's an example, using an 11.1V 2000mAh 10C
11.1 volt 2000mAh -10C
2000 milliamps = 2 amps
2 Amps x 10 = 20 amps continuous discharge

This means that you can safely draw up to 20 amps continuously from that 11.1V 2000mAh 10C without doing damage to your battery. Our packs have all the discharge information printed right on the label. You can check out one of our labels right here. We hope this helps clarify the most misunderstood aspect of electric flight.

I agree, therefor im pretty sure i didnt cause the battery to fail. Im just glad it didn't trash my hexa, and i only have 1 other of the same pack so do i go right to TP? Or through quadrocopter.us

hmm don't know what the arrangement is between qudroopter.us and TP. Normally the reseller will take care and if they are cool they will send you one before the broken one reaches them :)
