Things to do in Las Vegas, other than the obvious...

Thanks to the Nor'easter that's about to bury Boston under 12 to 24 inches of snow I find myself stuck in Las Vegas until Sunday morningwith time to kill. Anyone have suggestions on things to do that don't involvecasinos or "working girls"?

Beginning to wish I had packed a small FPV quad, thosehills out at the edge of town look like an interesting place to fly, definitelyhave to make sure I bring something along next time…

Red rocks park has some of the best rock climbing in the US. If you don't climb, at least grab a camera and go hike. Or hire a guide. I fly there to climb, not gamble.

RT if you still have my contact info, give me a call and we can go out and fly. I have Friday off. I tried to PM you but your box was full.

Contact info would be on my laptop at home. I'm out having a burger at the moment, soon as I'm done I'll go up to the room and clean out the PM box, should be about 45 minutes from now.

If you weren't military go fire a machine gun at one of the indoor ranges. Grab a helicopter ride over the strip or out to the Grand Canyon. Ride the roller coaster on the top of the Stratosphere. More sedate, check out the view from the Eiffel tower at night. Like great photography check out one of Peter Lik's galleries of the Rodney Loh gallery next to the Aria. See the Blue Man Group.
